Xiaomi recently confirmed the arrival of HyperOS in India through a new teaser dropped on X (formerly Twitter). The company divulged through another post that the Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphone users will be the first to receive the update in India. Xiaomi also revealed that the Xiaomi Pad 6 users will receive the update alongside the Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphone. Himanshu Tandon, Country Head of POCO India, has confirmed the HyperOS update for the POCO F5 smartphone.
POCO F5 HyperOS Update
Himanshu Tandon reveals that the POCO F5 is the first smartphone in India to receive the HyperOS update. The update has been rolled out to the beta users starting January 3. The Xiaomi-owned brand will start rolling out the update to regular users in the coming days.
POCO is waiting for the feedback from beta users before pushing the update to normal users. The HyperOS update of the smartphone has the version number OS1.0.3.0.UMRINXM and weighs around 4.9GB. POCO has included the December 2023 security patch update with the HyperOS update.

POCO India head also teases the company will make a new announcement on January 5. POCO might announce the HyperOS schedule of the other POCO smartphones launched in the country. The Xiaomi-owned brand has scheduled a launch event on January 11 in India to debut the POCO X6 5G and POCO X6 Pro 5G smartphones.
