The POCO X6 series launch date could be announced soon considering that the POCO India country head has dropped a Christmas tweet, with a clue: “Happy Xmas Everyone! Santa is coming with a gift soon.” This tweet does suggest that the launch of the POCO X6 series is imminent. The another reason for the launch of the X6 series to happen soon is likely because the devices in the X6 lineup such as the POCO X6 and the X6 Pro have been making rounds on several certification websites since the last few weeks.
POCO X6 Series Launch Teased
The POCO X6 series also should launch soon in India, as the POCO X6 5G as well as the POCO X6 Pro 5G had received the BIS certification a few days back. Rumours suggest that the POCO X6 could arrive as rebrand of the Redmi Note 13 Pro, while the X6 Pro 5G might launch in some markets as a rebrand of the Redmi K70E.
Assuming that the POCO X6 will arrive as a rebrand of the Redmi Note 13 Pro, one can expect the device to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device could be powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC which might be paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The other key features which the device might include a 200MP triple-camera setup, a 16MP selfie camera, a 5,100mAh battery, and 67W fast charging support.
As for the POCO X6 Pro 5G, this device could feature a 6.67-inch display with a 1220 x 2712 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone could be powered by Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset. The device might be introduced in the global market in either 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of storage configuration. We can expect the X6 Pro 5G to feature a 64MP triple-camera setup and a 16MP selfie camera. The device might pack a 5,500mAh battery which could offer 90W fast charging support.
