Realme 12 5G Receives BIS Certification; Set to Debut in India Soon

Realme is expected to launch the Realme 12 soon and now, 91Mobiles has spotted the vanilla Realme 12 5G smartphone in BIS certification, hinting that the launch is nearing in India. The phone is expected to launch alongside the Realme 12+ 5G, which will debut in India on March 6.

Realme 12 5G Spotted on BIS

The vanilla Realme 12 5G smartphone has obtained BIS certification with the RMX3999 model number. The RMX3999 model number was previously spotted in Malaysia’s SIRIM certification, which confirmed the moniker of the smartphone.

The forthcoming Realme smartphone has also obtained EEC, TKDN, and Indonesia Telecom certification platforms with the same model number. The TUV Rheinland certification reveals that the smartphone will have a typical rated capacity of 4,880mAh.

The battery could be marked as 5,000mAh and is likely to support a maximum of 45W fast charging tech. The FCC certification confirms that the smartphone will run Realme UI 5.0 out of the box. This could be based on Android 14.

The database also shows the schematics of the smartphone, confirming the presence of a circular camera module on the rear. The upcoming vanilla smartphone is also confirmed to debut with support for 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC.

The Camera FV 5 listing reveals that the Realme 12’s primary camera will support f/1.8 aperture, 5.2mm focal length, and EIS. The forthcoming device will also sport a front camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The other specifications of the upcoming Realme smartphone are unknown at the moment.
