Realme 12 Series Gets Listed on MIIT Certification, Design Revealed Showing Circular Camera Module Ahead of Launch

Realme has started teasing the launch of a new smartphone in India. The Chinese OEM will soon debut the Realme 12 series smartphones in India and China. The upcoming smartphones have started receiving multiple certifications. Our team at MySmartPrice recently spotted the Realme 12 Pro 5G and Realme 12 Pro+ 5G smartphones in TDRA certification.

The TDRA certification confirmed the monikers and the model numbers of the upcoming mid-range smartphones. A new smartphone with RMX3841 and RMX3843 model numbers has received the MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) certification. These smartphones are believed to be the Realme 12 Pro series smartphones. The certification reveals the design of the upcoming smartphones.

Realme 12 Pro 5G Series: Everything We Know So Far

The MIIT certification confirms that the forthcoming Realme smartphones will sport a punch hole in the center of the display to house the selfie camera. The listing divulges that Realme will equip the devices with a curved AMOLED panel similar to its predecessor. The power button and volume rockers are placed on the right side of the device.

The left side of the smartphone is clean without any placements, including the SIM card tray. A circular camera island can be seen on the rear of the smartphone. The images reveal that Realme will continue the design elements present on the Realme 11 Pro series smartphones with the upcoming Realme 12 Pro 5G series smartphones.

The MIIT images reveal that Realme will launch the smartphone in a plain leather variant in an orange colourway. A golden strip can be seen in the middle of the smartphone, running from top to bottom, connecting the camera island. The camera island confirms that Realme will equip the smartphones with quad rear cameras.

The circular camera island also teases the 20x digital zooming capability of the smartphone. The upcoming Realme 12 Pro+ 5G smartphone is rumoured to sport a periscope telephoto sensor. Digital Chat Station revealed that Realme smartphones will sport a plastic middle frame.

Realme will equip the Pro+ smartphone with a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. 91Mobiles exclusively revealed that Realme will equip the upcoming Realme 12 Pro+ 5G smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset.

The chipset is fabricated on Samsung’s 4nm process and features four Cortex A78 cores at 2.4GHz, six Cortex A55 cores at 1.95GHz, and an Adreno 710 GPU. The vanilla Realme 12 Pro 5G smartphone is rumoured to sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset.

The chipset features one Cortex A715 core at 2.63GHz, three Cortex A715 cores at 2.4GHz, four Cortex A510 cores at 1.8GHz, and an Adreno 720 GPU. Digital Chat Station hints that the vanilla smartphone will sport a 32MP Sony IMX 709 telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom.
