Realme Book launch date confirmed

Realme will launch its first laptop on August 18 in China. The Realme Book is also confirmed to launch in India very soon. The company could announce its new laptop in India at the Realme GT series event. Realme will unveil its new flagship smartphones in India on August 18. The company, at the time of writing this, has not announced the exact launch date of the Realme Book for the Indian market. It is expected to launch in August.

The company has confirmed some key details of the upcoming Realme laptop. It will come with an Intel 11th-generation processor under the hood. The laptop will launch in two variants, one of which is a Core i5 model. We can expect a Core i3 model to launch alongside. The laptop is also confirmed to feature a backlit keyboard and USB Type-C port. It will launch in three colour options.

As per the leaked details, the laptop’s base model is expected to launch in India under Rs 40,000. Some of the key specifications and the design of the upcoming Realme Book had also surfaced on the web earlier this month. The leak suggested that the upcoming Realme laptop will have an aluminium body and super-thin bezels. The laptop will reportedly sport a 14-inch LED display. It is confirmed to come with a 3:2 aspect ratio and a 2K resolution.

According to a 3C listing, the Realme laptop will support 65W charging. It will boot Windows 10 out of the box and will offer Windows 11 as a free upgrade once rolled out. It will also come with Microsoft Office pre-installed. Details about the RAM and SSD variants are unknown at the moment. In terms of ports, it will have 1 USB Type-A port and two Type-C slots. The laptop will also have a 3.5mm headphone jack. The power button will double up as a fingerprint scanner. It is likely to weigh under 1.5 kgs.
