Realme previously concluded a special conference where it confirmed the periscope telephoto sensor of the upcoming flagship GT 5 Pro smartphone. The Chinese OEM previously revealed the chipset details of the GT 5 Pro smartphone. The RAM, storage and heat dissipation capability were teased through another teaser on Weibo. Realme has confirmed the display specifications and revealed the design of the flagship device through new teasers shared on Weibo.
Realme to Equip Same Peak Brightness as OnePlus 12 Smartphone
Realme confirms that it will equip the upcoming flagship device with a curved AMOLED screen. The display has a peak manual brightness of 1000 nits, a peak global brightness of 1600 nits, and a peak brightness of 4500 nits. The curved AMOLED panel will have a refresh rate of 144Hz and 2160Hz instant touch sampling rate. The teaser also confirms that Realme will equip the device with 1.5K resolution.
The TENAA listing of the smartphone revealed that it will feature a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED panel. The display is also teased to equip Pro-XDR high dynamic display, TUV Rheinland Global Eye Protection 3.0, high-brightness DC Dimming, 20,000 levels of dimming, 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and 8T LTPO tech. Realme also claims that the display features the best experience for the users in the industry.
Realme has shared an image of the rear of the device, which confirms that it will be available in a leatherette variant. The brand claims that it tested over 3000 combinations to arrive at the colour pallet. The image reveals a large circular camera island with triple cameras, including a periscope lens and LED flash.
Realme branding can be seen to the right beneath the camera island. The brand recently confirmed that the upcoming flagship smartphone would equip a fourth-generation edge anti-accidental touch algorithm. The Tmall listing revealed that the price of the device will start at RMB 3,499 (approx. Rs 41,150). The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset will pair with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
Realme also confirms that the GT 5 Pro will be equipped with a 3VC iceberg cooling system with an area of 12,000mm². Realme claims that it offers six times better heat dissipation in comparison to other Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 smartphones. The device will be backed by a 5400mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support. Realme also equips the device with GT Mode 2.0 which helps to clock the CPU and GPU manually.
