Realme will launch the GT Neo 2 very soon. The company will launch the device in China on September 22. Ahead of the launch, some key details of the phone have been confirmed. Realme’s upcoming GT smartphone will feature a Snapdragon 870 SoC under the hood. To control the heating, the company has also confirmed that the device will feature a diamond ice core cooling system. Reports suggest that this thermal management system offers 50 per cent better heat dissipation than conventional gel. Realme GT Neo 2 features tipped

Realme will launch the GT Neo 2 in China on September 22. The device is expected to launch sometime next month in India as well. Ahead of the launch, Realme has confirmed that the GT Neo 2 will feature a diamond ice core cooling system. According to reports, this cooling system packs three-dimensional graphene, customised concave and convex surface covering the heating source. It also includes a stainless steel vapour chamber heat dissipation surface of 4129mm², which is an increase of 26 per cent in terms of area. The cooling system also includes a screen warehouse graphite sheet and a screen IC graphite copper foil.

The new cooling system should theoretically provide improved heat dissipation. Realme has also confirmed that the phone will feature a Snapdragon 870 SoC and pack a 5000 mAh battery. The phone will support 65W fast charging, which according to Realme, will charge the phone completely in 36 minutes.

The phone is rumoured to come in two storage configurations. There will be a base 8GB +128GB variant alongside the 12GB + 256GB model. It is said to launch in Neo Blue and Neo Green colour options.

Other leaked details include a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone’s 64MP triple-camera setup is likely to feature an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. There will be a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
