Realme might soon launch its new GT series smartphones soon. The company is likely to launch two premium phones in the upcoming GT series, namely the GT Neo 6 and GT Neo 6 Pro 5G. We are yet to see the latest GT Neo 5 series in India. Meanwhile, rumours about the GT Neo 6 series have leaked online. A new leak has now revealed the specifications of the GT Neo 6 5G, which will sit at the bottom of the lineup for the time being.
Tipster Yogesh Brar has listed the key specifications of the phone, which suggests that the GT Neo 6 5G will get some key upgrades in the performance, battery and other departments over the outgoing model. Let’s take a look at the Realme GT Neo 6 specifications, features and other details revealed so far.
Realme GT Neo 6 5G: Specifications (Leaked)
The Realme GT Neo 6 5G will be one of the upcoming premium smartphones launching in various markets. The exact launch date is unknown at the moment. While we wait for some official launch details, the GT Neo 6 specifications have leaked online. A new leak by tipster Brar claims that the phone will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with support for a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen will offer a 1.5K resolution.
Under the hood, there will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, according to Brar. The phone is said to launch with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Brar also revealed that the GT Neo 6 5G will feature a 5200mAh battery. It will offer support for 150W fast charging out of the box.
The device will feature a triple-camera setup on the back. It will feature a 50MP primary camera sensor with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS). The sensor details are under wraps. However, it would not be a surprise if Realme uses a Sony IMX890 sensor found in several OPPO and OnePlus smartphones. There will also be an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, the GT Neo 6 5G will come with a 16MP front camera sensor.
In terms of software, the GT Neo 6 5G is said to boot Android 13 out of the box. It will have a layer of Realme UI 4.0 on top. Other specifications include an under-screen fingerprint scanner, an IR blaster, etc.
According to a recent report, the GT Neo 6 will launch in China in August. Days ahead of the rumoured launch timeline, MySmartPrice had exclusively revealed the design renders of the GT Neo 6 5G. The upcoming premium smartphone from Realme will have a huge island on the back for the triple-camera setup. We revealed the phone’s Green colour option, which has a black-coloured camera island. The text on the camera module also confirms that the GT Neo 6 will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Also, the frame of the phone remains curved and houses the power button and volume rocker on the right side.
