The Chinese smartphone maker Realme is gearing up for the launch of the Realme GT Neo 6 smartphone. Back in May, the key specifications of the handset such as its display size, chipset details, and fast charging information were revealed courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station. According to that leak, the device will be featuring an OLED display with 1.5K resolution, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, and 100W fast charging support. Realme GT Neo 6 Will Feature a Triple-Camera Setup
As seen in the images, the upcoming Realme GT Neo 6 will feature a triple-camera setup at the back accompanied by a LED flash. Furthermore, the press renders also reveal that the smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The device will also have SUPERVOOC fast charging and NFC support. The power and volume keys will be located on the right side of the handset. Considering that the Realme GT Neo 5 has RGB lights beside the Snapdragon logo at the rear, we can expect the upcoming Realme GT Neo 6 to offer the same. As far as the specifications go, the Realme GT Neo 6 is tipped to feature an OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. The smartphone’s display might offer a 144Hz refresh rate. Currently, the display size of the device remains unknown. As confirmed by the render, the Realme GT Neo 6 will come with Qualcomm’s flagship 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset accompanied by Adreno 740 GPU.
The previous leak also suggests that the device will feature a 50MP primary camera with OIS support. Furthermore, the handset is expected to pack a bigger battery which could support 100W fast charging. We can expect this upcoming smartphone to boot Android 13 out of the box with Realme UI 4.0 skin on top. Similar to the Realme GT Neo 5, the GT Neo 6 might debut in 12GB/16GB RAM configuration along with 256GB/512GB of internal storage.
Currently, the launch date of the device is yet to be revealed by Realme. However, the past leak indicates that the smartphone will launch in Q3 2023. We shall get to learn more details about the handset if it appears on certifications and benchmarks in the coming few weeks.
