Realme is preparing for the launch of its next 5G smartphone in the home country China called the Realme GT Neo and it’s no secret. At the beginning of the month, the company launched the Realme GT 5G phone powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset and teased the Realme GT Neo with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor. Realme refuses to utter a single word about the specifications of the upcoming 5G smartphone until today, as it confirmed the launch event on March 31st at 2:30 PM UTC (12:00 PM IST) which is slated to held in Beijing, China.
No other details regarding this device are officially available as of now. Realme has shared a teaser post on its official Weibo handle shedding lights on the launch details of the upcoming Realme GT Neo 5G. Recently a Realme smartphone with model number RMX3116 which is trusted to be the Reame GT Neo appeared on the TENAA listing revealing some specifications of the handset.
Realme GT Neo Expected Specifications
TENAA listing has confirmed that the Realme GT Neo will be launched with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout design placed at the top left corner of the phone. The listing suggests that the handset carries an in-display fingerprint scanner and the renders on the certification site look pretty similar to the Realme GT.
As far as cameras are concerned the Realme GT Neo confirmed to ship with a rectangular-shaped triple rear camera setup placed at the top-left corner of the rear panel accompanied by an LED flash. Further, the listing confirmed that the smartphone will pack a 4,400mAh battery. 3C certification has already confirmed 65W fast-charging on the device. The smartphone will run the Android 11 operating system, with Realme UI 2.0 on top.
So far we know this much about the upcoming Realme GT Neo and we can expect more information about the smartphone as we move closer to the launch. Do note that Realme is yet to reveal anything about the handset officially, so it’s advisable to take this information with a grain of salt and wait for the launch on March 31st, 2021.
