Realme is gearing up for the launch of its new camera flagship smartphone. The second flagship smartphone from Realme is a part of the company’s dual flagship strategy, which was announced earlier this year. The upcoming Realme GT Master Edition will be Realme’s flagship for photographers out there. The company is yet to announce the official launch date of its new flagship device. Ahead of the official confirmation, some key details around the devices camera capabilities have leaked online. According to a new leak, the OPPO spin-off brand is partnering with a veteran camera company for its upcoming camera-centric flagship smartphone. Realme GT Master Edition to feature Kodak-tuned camera system?

Realme is expected to launch the GT Master Edition soon. Before the company announces the launch date, some key details around the device’s camera have leaked. It looks like the company will partner with camera legend Kodak for its upcoming GT smartphone camera. Earlier today, Digital Chat Station revealed that Realme will partner with a camera company for the GT series. The tipster did not mention the name of this camera company. Hours after the initial leak, another Weibo user claims that Realme will launch the GT camera flagship in partnership with Kodak.

The trend of smartphone companies partnering with camera/ imaging companies has been on the rise lately. Recently, OnePlus collaborated with Hasselblad for the OnePlus 9 series devices. Vivo too partnered with Zeiss for the Vivo X60 series. Huawei has previously launched its phones in collaboration with Leica. South Korea’s Samsung is also rumoured to partner with Olympus for the Galaxy S22 series.

Realme has not officially announced any details about the partnership or the device’s specs. The phone, however, had visited TENAA a few days ago. It revealed that the device has a triple-camera setup on the back. The key specifications had also leaked online, suggesting that the phone will have a 108MP primary camera, a 13MP ultrawide and a 2MP tertiary sensor.

Realme’s GT camera flagship is rumoured to feature a 6.5-inch 90Hz AMOLED display. It could feature the Snapdragon 870 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM. The phone could pack a 4500mAh battery with 65W fast charging.
