Realme released the Android 13 Open beta update for the Realme X7 Max smartphone back in December. Now, in a recent development, the Chinese smartphone maker has seeded out the stable Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 software update for the Realme X7 Max. The company took to its community forum to confirm the release of a stable Android 13 update for the Realme X7 Max. The new software update arrives with firmware version RMX3031_11.F.04 and it brings all features of Android 13.

In order to update your Realme X7 Max 5G to Android 13, you will need to be running firmware version RMX3031_11.C.16 or RMX3031_11.C.17 on your unit. Speaking about the changes, the stable Android 13 update includes aquamorphic design theme colours for enhanced visual comfort, new home screen world clock widget, and upgrades to Quantum Animation Engine 4.0. Furthermore, the new software update also adds large folders to the home screen, a new type of Always-On Display that shows live information about music, and food delivery. The update also adds markup tools for screenshot editing and upgrades Doodle in Notes.

【Efficiency】

. Adds large folders to the Home screen. You can now open an app in an enlarged folder with just one tap and turn pages in the folder with a swipe.

. Adds a new type of Always-On Display that shows live information about music, ride-hailing and food delivery. (Supports only some apps)

. Adds media playback control, and optimises the Quick Settings experience.

. Adds more markup tools for screenshot editing.

. Adds support for adding widgets to the Home screen, making information display more personalised.

. Upgrades Doodle in Notes. You can now draw on graphics to take notes more efficiently.

. Optimises Shelf. Swiping down on the Home screen will bring up Shelf by default. You can search content online and on your device.

As stated by Realme on its community forum, the Android 13 update for the Realme X7 Max 5G will be rolled out in stagged manner. The update will reach out to a total of 15% of users initially, and the broader rollout will commence by the end of February if the new build doesn’t contain any no critical bugs.
