Redmi has launched a new budget smartphone in India. The company has announced the Redmi 10 as its new smartphone under Rs 13,000. The new Redmi smartphone is the second device under the series after the 10 Prime, which was launched last year in India. The new Redmi 10 launched in India is a rebadged version of the 10C, which was unveiled earlier this month in global markets.

Redmi 10 Price in India
Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 10 in India in two storage options. The base model has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It is priced at Rs 10,999. There is also a 6GB + 128GB variant, which is priced at Rs 12,999. The phone has been launched in Caribbean Green, Pacific Blue and Midnight Black colours. Customers with an HDFC Bank card can claim a Rs 1,000 discount.
It will be available for purchase starting March 24 via Flipkart.
Specifications and Features
The Redmi 10 features a 6.7-inch IPS LCD with a water-drop notch at the top for the front camera. It has an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20.6:9 aspect ratio. The screen has a peak brightness of 400 nits and a 60Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the phone has a Snapdragon 680 SoC. It is paired with an Adreno 610 GPU and up to 6GB of RAM. The phone comes with up to 128GB of internal storage and has support for expandable storage via microSD.
There is a 6000 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. The device, however, will come with a 10W charging adapter out of the box. On the back, there is a dual-camera setup. The phone has a 50MP main camera sensor and a 2MP portrait camera. For selfies, there is a 5MP front camera.
The phone’s plastic back has a fingerprint scanner. It comes with a single speaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device boots Android 11-based MIUI 13 out of the box.
