Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is gearing up for the launch of the Redmi 13C 5G smartphone. The company is set to introduce the device in India on December 6, as confirmed yesterday. The smartphone will be available for purchase in India via Amazon. The device will be introduced in the country in three colour options like Black, Grene, and Light Purple. Now, the same smartphone has received Bluetooth SIG certification. The certification reveals that the Redmi 13C 5G could debut in other markets with a different moniker.
Redmi 13R 5G Will Boot Android 14 Out of the Box
Previously, the Redmi 13C was spotted on the 3C certification with model number as 23124RN87IC. The same device also received the BIS certification in India a few weeks back. The handset was spotted on the certification website with the model number as 23124RN87I. Now, the same smartphone has received made it to the Bluetooth SIG certification. The handset is listed on the certification website with the model number as 23124RN87I. The Bluetooth SIG certification has listed the device with the Redmi 13R moniker.
The certification listing also confirms that the device will offer Bluetooth v5.3 support. The smartphone will boot MIUI 14 out of the box as revealed by the listing. Besides these details, no other information about the handset is revealed by the certification. It could be possible that the Redmi 13C 5G might launch in other markets with the Redmi 13R 5G moniker.
As far as the specifications of the Redmi 13C 5G go, it is expected to feature a 90Hz refresh rate display, similar to the LTE model. Under the hood, the smartphone could be powered by Dimensity 6100+ SoC. The device will be featuring a dual-camera setup. The camera module will include a 50MP primary camera. The rest of the specifications of the 5G model remain unknown currently. We should be able to learn the detailed specifications, pricing, and availability details of the handset once it launches in India on December 6.
On the other hand, the Redmi 13 4G specifications are already known to us considering that the device is announced previously. The 4G model is also set to launch in India on December 6. To recall, the Redmi 13 4G features a 6.74-inch display with an HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The display panel has a 450-nit peak brightness and a punch-hole cutout. The other key features which the device offer includes a 50MP dual-camera setup, an 8MP selfie camera, Helio G85 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, a 5,000mAh battery, and 18W fast charging.
