Redmi 13R 5G smartphone has been launched in China. The specifications and features of the device are similar to the Redmi 13C 5G, which made its debut in India earlier this month. Redmi 13C is a budget smartphone, the price for which starts at Rs 9,999. It will go on sale in the country via Amazon and Xiaomi’s website from December 16.

Redmi 13R 5G Price, Availability
Redmi 13R 5G will be available in 4GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration, which is priced at 999 Yuan (Rs 11,700 approximately) in China. It can be bought in three colour options – Star Rock Back, Fantasy Purple, and Waterwave Green (translated from Chinese).
In comparison, the Redmi 13C 5G can be bought in India in three storage configurations. The price starts at Rs 9,999 for the 4GB+128GB variant. The 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB storage variants will cost Rs 11,499 and Rs 13,499, respectively.
Redmi 13C 5G can be bought in colour options of Startrail Black, Startrail Silver, and Startrail Green. The sale on Amazon India and Xiaomi’s website will start from noon on December 16.
Redmi 13R 5G Features And Specifications
Redmi 13R 5G sports a 6.74-inch HD+ IPS LCD with a resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, coupled with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It comes with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
In terms of camera, the Redmi 13R 5G features a dual rear camera setup, where the primary sensor is 50MP. The front camera is 5MP, which is placed in the waterdrop notch on top of the display.
Redmi 13R 5G is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W wired charging via a USB Type-C port. The smartphone will run Android 13, based on MIUI 14.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The connectivity options on the Redmi 13R 5G are expected to be similar to those on the Redmi 13C 5G.
