Xiaomi has announced the launch of the Redmi Buds 5 TWS in India through a post on X (formerly Twitter). The Chinese smartphone giant had previously announced the product alongside the Redmi Note 13 5G series smartphones in China.
Redmi Buds 5: Launch Date and Specifications
Xiaomi confirms that the Redmi Buds 5 will debut in India on February 12. The microsite for the upcoming buds is also live on Xiaomi India’s website, sharing some of the key specifications. The buds come with active noise cancellation capability.
The buds will offer support for 46dB Hybrid ANC, which will offer a complete noise-free experience. The brand will equip the device with a 12.4mm titanium driver, which enhances the sound quality of the upcoming Buds 5.
The design of the charging case confirms that the case will sport an old-school hinge mechanism to open and close the lid. Xiaomi also highlights the dual-device pairing capability of the earbuds. The buds will also feature a dual mic with AI voice enhancement.
Xiaomi claims that the buds will offer a total playback of 38 hours. The upcoming Buds 5 is expected to debut with the same specifications as the global and Chinese variants. Here are the complete specifications for the forthcoming Buds 5.
