Xiaomi has revealed that the upcoming Buds 5A will feature 12mm dynamic drivers with active noise cancellation (ANC) support. The upcoming Redmi Buds will rely on Bluetooth 5.4 for connectivity and offer Google Fast Pair support as well.

The Redmi Buds 5A, as seen in official teasers, will arrive in two colour options – black and white. The TWS earphones will feature an in-ear design and will also have a stem, similar to Apple’s AirPods Pro. Apart from this, the company hasn’t revealed anything about the upcoming TWS. However, we can expect to learn more about it in the coming days ahead of the launch.

The upcoming Redmi Buds 5A is expected to arrive as a cheaper alternative to the Redmi Buds 5, which was unveiled in February of this year and costs Rs 2,999. The Redmi Buds 5 offers 12.4mm titanium drivers and supports up to 46dB active noise cancellation for those unaware.

The Redmi Buds 5 offers three transparent modes: regular, enhanced voice and ambient sound. It offers up to 40 hours of battery life, including the charging case and features support for dual-device connection. The Redmi Buds 5 earbuds are IP54 rated, making them dust- and splash-resistant.
