Redmi Buds 5A, Handheld Garment Steamer, and More Launched in India

Xiaomi has expanded its audio product portfolio with the launch of the Redmi Buds 5A in India. Alongside, the company has also unveiled the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaner S10 and Xiaomi Handheld Garment Streamer at its Smarter Living event. Take a look at the details.

The Redmi Buds 5A will be available, starting April 29 via mi.com, Mi Homes, Reliance Digital, MyJio Store, and JioMart stores.

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaner S10 and Handheld Garment Steamer will be available in an Early Access sale on April 29 via mi.com. Both products can be pre-booked, starting April 29 through Amazon, Flipkart, and other retail outlets and can be bought, starting May 6.

Xiaomi is offering a flat Rs 1,000 discount with Credit and Debit Card transactions on the purchase of Robot Vacuum Cleaner S10, as a special launch offer.

Redmi Buds 5A: Features, Specs

The Redmi Buds 5A TWS features 12mm dynamic drivers with up to 25dB active noise cancellation (ANC) support. It also features AI ENC (environmental noise cancellation), a transparency mode, and a low-latency gaming mode. The Buds 5A supports Bluetooth 5.4 and Google Fast Pair. The earbuds are compatible with the Xiaomi EarBuds app.

The Redmi Buds 5A comes in two colour options – Bass Black and Timeless White. The Buds 5A charging case has a 440mAh battery and each earbud gets a 34mAh battery. It offers up to 30 hours of battery life. It can last for about 90 minutes with just 10 minutes of charging. The latest Redmi Buds feature IPX4 rating making it water resistant.

Xiaomi Handheld Garment Steamer: Features, Specs

Xiaomi Handheld Garment Steamer has a compact and portable design and comes in a white colour option. It has a ceramic sole plate and offers 1300W of power. It features a steam rate of up to 24 grams per minute and supports horizontal and vertical modes.

Xiaomi claims that the Handheld Garment Steamer kills up to 99.99% bacteria and removes allergens. It is safe for all fabrics, including cotton, polyester, nylon, linen, wool, and silk. The Handheld Garment Steamer can heat in around 26 seconds and has a 160ml water capacity tank.

Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaner S10: Features, Specs

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaner S10 features 4000Pa turbo suction and comes with a 2-in-1 water and dust container. It has three water settings, suitable for all types of cleaning, as per the company.

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaner S10 feature high-precision sensors and has LDC navigation for precision mapping. It supports Zigzag and Y-shaped patterns for cleaning. The Xiaomi Home app is the companion app for the Robot Vacuum Cleaner for easy monitoring and management.
