Redmi confirmed last year that it will launch the Redmi K50 series smartphones powered by Dimensity 9000 processor in 2022. Ahead of the official launch, we have been learning new details of the upcoming K50 series through multiple leaks. Last month, the company even reaffirmed that will held new product launch conference for K50 series after the Spring Festival.

Now, ahead of the launch, three Redmi K50 series devices have been certified in China, as per Digital Chat Station. Let us take a look at the specifications the Redmi K50 series will offer:

Three Redmi K50 Series Smartphones Certified In China

As per the rumours, the Redmi K50 carries model number 22021211RC. It is said that the device will debut with Snapdragon 870 chipset. The Geekbench listing of the Redmi K50 vanilla model had surfaced last month. The listing revealed that the smartphone will pack 12GB of RAM. On the software front, the device will run Android 12 out of the box, as per the Geekbench test result.

On the other hand, the Redmi K50 Pro model is tipped to be in the work with model number 22041211AC. The smartphone is rumoured to feature Dimensity 8000 SoC, while the top-end model in the K50 series, i.e the Redmi K50 Pro+ might come with Dimensity 9000 processor.

All three devices are tipped to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. These upcoming smartphones are tipped to pack a 4,700mAh battery which could offer support for 120W fast charging. In terms of imaging, one of the Redmi K50 series model is rumoured to feature a 64MP camera, while one variant could sport a 108MP main camera.

In a piece of related news, Redmi GM Lu Weibing also confirmed through Weibo that one of the K50 series devices will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Furthermore, the GM even revealed via a reply to the user that the K50 equipped Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC device will launch first, and the Dimensity 9000-powered flagship device will launch later this year.

As of now, the official launch date of the K50 series is not revealed by Redmi. We shall get to learn more details about these handsets if Redmi shares any information via its Weibo in the upcoming few days.
