The Redmi K50 series is scheduled to launch in China next week. The company will host a launch event in Chine on March 17, where the company is expected to launch the Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro, and the Redmi K50 Pro+ trio. Now, ahead of the launch, two Redmi devices belonging to the Redmi K50 Series have been spotted on Geekbench, which reveals the chipset, RAM, OS version, and more.

Redmi K50 Pro and K50 Pro+ Geekbench Listing

A Redmi phone with model number 22041211AC has been listed on the geekbench platform. Going by the previous leaks, this is the Redmi K50 Pro device as the vanilla Redmi K50 comes with 22021211RC model number, based on the leaks. Redmi K50 Pro+ with 22011211C model number was also seen on the website. The database reveals the Redmi K50 Pro will run on Android 12 out of the box, which is presumably based on MIUI 13. Also, the device will come with 12GB of RAM on the inside.

Further, the Redmi K50 Pro will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC as confirmed earlier by the brand itself, which was soon after the new chipset announcement from MediaTek. The Dimensity 8100 is an octa-core 5G SoC that offers four premium Arm Cortex-A78 cores with a clock speed of up to 2.85GHz and four power-efficient cores running at 2GHz. The SoC is coupled with Arm Mali-G610 MC6 GPU with HyperEngine 5.0 gaming suite.

Apart from the Redmi K50 Pro, the Redmi K50 Pro+ was also spotted on the geekbench database revealing MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, 12GB of RAM, and Android 12 OS. The Dimensity 9000 comes with a clock speed of 3.05GHz and Mali-G710 MC10 GPU. Popular Webio user, Weibo Digital Chat Station has shared an image of Redmi K50 Pro+’s AntuTu benchmark score. The device has scored 10,41,818 points.

The leaks suggest the Redmi K50 will come with a triple rear camera setup, a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 4700mAh battery with support for 120W super fast charging. The smartphone is expected to boot Android 12-based MIUI 13 out of the box. More details of the phones will be revealed at the launch next week.
