Redmi K50i Amazon Availability Confirmed, Tipped To Go On Sale During Amazon Prime Days Sale

The Redmi K-series is all set to make a comeback in the Indian market. This will be Xiaomi’s third device under the Redmi K-series in the country. To those unaware, the brand launched the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro back in July 2019. The upcoming Redmi K-series smartphone is the Redmi K50i and it will launch on July 20 as per the announcement. Ahead of the launch, a micro-site has gone live on Amazon revealing that the upcoming Redmi K50i will be sold exclusively via Amazon in India.

Also, tipster Paras Guglani has revealed that the Xiaomi K50i will go on sale for the first time during the Amazon Prime Days sale. To those unaware, the Amazon Prime Days Sale is scheduled for July 23-24. The handset is tipped to go on sale starting July 22 as per another report. The specifications of the upcoming Redmi K50i surfaced on the web last week. Let us take a look at the Redmi K50i leaked specifications and features.

Redmi K50i: Specifications and Features

The Redmi K50i is said to offer a 6.6-inch LCD screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. The display panel might also offer support for Dolby Vision content.

Under the hood, the upcoming Redmi K-series device will reportedly sport an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor that brings with it an integrated Mali G610 GPU. The handset is tipped to be equipped with a 5080mAh battery unit and 67W fast charging support.

The Redmi K50i will offer a triple-rear camera setup including a 64MP primary camera. It is said to be accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro camera. The handset might offer a 16MP front shooter.

A report earlier this week suggested that the upcoming Redmi K-series device will launch in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB configurations. It is said to be available in Phantom Blue, Stealth Black, and Quick Silver colour variants.

Based on the specifications, the Redmi K50i appears to be a rebranded Redmi Note 11T Pro which was announced a couple of months ago in the Chinese market. The handset made its debut as the POCO X4 GT recently in the global markets.
