The vanilla Redmi K70 smartphone will debut outside China under the Poco F6 Pro moniker. The device also received IMEI and IMDA certifications in the past. Xiaomi is rumoured to limit the Redmi K70 Pro smartphone to the Chinese market. The company has revealed the complete renders of the smartphone ahead of its debut through a new post on Weibo. Xiaomi also announced the display and telephoto sensor specifications of the device.
Redmi K70 Pro Confirmed Specifications
The teasers shared by the brand confirm that the upcoming Redmi K70 Pro smartphone will debut in Black and White colour options. The renders reveal a centred single punch-hole cut-out and equal thin bezels on display. Xiaomi will equip the device with a raised rectangular camera island with triple individual camera rings and a single flashlight ring.
The camera island confirms that the device will feature a 50MP primary sensor with OIS. The camera island also adds that the device will sport a telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom. Xiaomi will equip the smartphone with a textured panel on the rear. The infrared sensor and a secondary microphone can be seen on the top of the device.
The right side contains the power and volume buttons of the upcoming device. The left side is empty except for the antenna lines seen on the top and sides. Xiaomi adds that the device has a width of 74.9mm, making it comfortable for single-hand users. The brand confirms that it uses a metal frame that uses aluminium alloy and a curved edge design.
Another teaser shared by Redmi on Weibo confirms that it will feature a 6.67-inch OLED screen. Xiaomi is yet to confirm the resolution and refresh rates of the upcoming smartphone. The rumours around the device hint that Xiaomi will equip the device with a 2K resolution OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi also teases that the device will feature a new generation of heat-dissipation materials.
The upcoming Redmi K70 Pro smartphone will also bring a dedicated AI engine which will offer a performance revolution as per the brand. Xiaomi previously confirmed that Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC will power the device. Xiaomi was the first smartphone brand to debut a smartphone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
The teasers shared by the brand on Weibo hint that the AI performance of the upcoming device has been improved by over 90%. The company also confirms that the device will run on Hyper OS based on Android 14 out of the box. The device is tipped to feature a 5120mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
