The upcoming Redmi K70E and Redmi K70 smartphones are tipped to debut under the Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro monikers in the international markets. The devices have received multiple certifications, including India’s BIS, indicating that the launch is nearing. Xiaomi has revealed the display specifications of the upcoming K70 Pro smartphone. A tipster has shared the camera specifications of the K70 series smartphones.
Redmi K70 Pro Display Specifications Confirmed
Xiaomi confirms that it will equip the Redmi K70 Pro smartphone with a TCL C8 OLED display. The teasers shared by the brand reveal that the display will have a new generation of luminescent materials which reduces the blue light emissions from the display. Xiaomi will equip the K70 Pro smartphone with 3840Hz PWM dimming, which ensures that the screen flickering is reduced to a minimal level.
The display also features various technologies to improve the colour calibration of the panel. The company previously confirmed that the device will feature a 6.67-inch OLED panel with 2K resolution. The display will offer a peak brightness of 4000 nits, which is unique in the segment. Xiaomi adds that the device has a regular brightness of 700 nits, which is standard in the segment.
The renders shared by the brand confirm that the device will feature a 50MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and a telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom. A Chinese tipster reveals that Xiaomi will equip the device with a 50MP OmniVision OV50e primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP OV50d telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom.
Xiaomi confirms that the shutter speed of the K70 pro smartphone has been improved. The teasers shared by the brand reveal that the primary sensor has a sensor size of 1/1.55-inch. The large sensor size will help the device to capture more light in the images. The vanilla Redmi K70 will feature a similar camera setup except for the telephoto sensor. A 2MP macro sensor will replace the telephoto sensor on the vanilla smartphone.
The Redmi K70E is tipped to equip a 64MP OmniVision OV64B sensor instead of the 50MP OmniVision OV50e sensor. Xiaomi has confirmed that it will equip the smartphones with a metallic frame instead of the plastic frame found on its predecessors. The renders shared by the brand confirmed that it will feature an infrared sensor on the top.
The K70 Pro smartphone will debut with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The upcoming K70 Pro smartphone is the third smartphone from Xiaomi to provide the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The company previously equipped the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphones with the same flagship chipset.
