Redmi K70, K70E, K70 Pro Confirmed to Launch in China on November 29

The Redmi K70 series launch date has been revealed by Redmi earlier today. As per the teaser shared by the company, the Redmi K70, Redmi K70E, and Redmi K70 Pro smartphones will launch in China on November 29. Apart from confirming the launch date of the K70 series, Redmi also has confirmed that the top-end K70 series model, i.e the Redmi K70 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. On the other hand, the Redmi K70E is already confirmed to feature Dimensity 8300 chipset, whereas the vanilla Redmi K70 might be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

Redmi K70 Pro Will Be Powered By Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC

As confirmed by Redmi yesterday, the upcoming Redmi K70E will feature a 1.5K resolution display. The display panel will have support for 1920Hz PWM high-frequency dimming and a peak brightness of 1800 nits. The device is also confirmed to pack a 5,500mAh battery which will be offering up to 90W fast charging support. The company also confirmed yesterday that the smartphone’s battery health will remain at 90% even after 1,000 heavy and long load cycles because of its proprietary battery technology.

The device will measure 8.05mm in terms of thickness, and it is expected to weigh around 198 grams. The previous leak suggests that the handset will feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of imaging, the handset is expected to feature a triple-camera setup which might include a 64MP primary sensor with OIS support, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor.. The device is expected to pack up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

As far as the specifications of the Redmi K70 and the K70 Pro go, these devices might feature a 120Hz OLED display. Both smartphones are rumoured to feature a 50MP camera with OIS support. The vanilla Redmi K70 model is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery, whereas the K70 Pro might be equipped with a 5,120mAh battery. Both smartphones might offer up to 120W fast charging support. As for the software, the K70 lineup will be boot HyperOS.

As the launch of the K70 series inches closer, Redmi might share more details about the smartphones in the lineup.
