Xiaomi’s Redmi, back in December 2022, introduced the Redmi K60 lineup in the Chinese market. The Redmi K60 lineup includes four devices – the Redmi K60E, Redmi K60, Redmi K60 Pro, and Redmi K60 Ultra. The Chinese brand is expected to debut the Redmi K70 series sometime later this year in its domestic market.

A couple of weeks back, the upcoming Redmi K70 Pro with the model number 23113RKC6C made an appearance on the Geekbench benchmark database but later the listing was found spoofed. Now, in a new development, we have spotted a new Redmi smartphone with codename manet on the Geekbench database. We have reasons to believe that this is the upcoming Redmi K70 Pro.

Let us take a closer look at the details.

Redmi K70E

The upcoming Redmi K70 Pro made an appearance on the Geekbench 5 benchmark database with the model number 23117RK66C. The handset managed to score 1100 points in the single core round of the benchmark test. In the multi-core round, the upcoming Redmi smartphone scored 5150 points.

The benchmark listing reveals the presence of an octa-core Qualcomm processor with Adreno 750 GPU. The CPU on the upcoming K-series smartphone has 1 + 2 + 5 core configuration with prime core functioning at 3.19GHz. This suggests that the upcoming Redmi K-series smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor which is expected to debut next month at Snapdragon Summit.

Xiaomi equips the Redmi K60 Pro with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which was Qualcomm’s flagship processor announced in 2022. Whereas, the Redmi K60 and Redmi K60E are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and MediaTek Dimensity 8200+ respectively.

Since, the upcoming K-series smartphone, as per the benchmark listing, features Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, we believe it is the Redmi K60 Pro’s successor. The Redmi K70 Pro Geekbench listing also reveals the presence of 16GB of RAM under the hood. Apart from it, the listing also confirms that the device will ship with Android 14 out of the box.
