Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 11 series in China in October 2021. The company unveiled three new mid-range Redmi smartphones. These include the Note 11, Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro Plus. The company is expected to launch the devices later this year or early next year in India. According to reports, the Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro Plus will launch under the Xiaomi branding in India, instead of Redmi. The company is likely to launch the two phones as Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge. Now, details of the Redmi Note 11 5G India launch have surfaced online.

According to the new details, Xiaomi could launch the device in India as the Redmi Note 11T 5G. The update comes from Kacper Skrzypek, who found the mention in the strings of MIUI source code revealing the moniker. Xiaomi is also said to launch the phone in global markets as Poco M4 Pro 5G. The device is scheduled to launch globally on November 9.

The Note 11 5G launch in India comes with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD. It has a 90Hz refresh rate display with a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. The phone has a dual-camera setup on the back. It features a 50MP primary camera sensor and an 8MP ultrawide camera. For selfies and video calls, there is a 16MP front camera sensor.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 11 5G has a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. It comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Xiaomi has also packed a 5000 mAh battery in the device with 33W fast charging support. It runs Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 out of the box.

Xiaomi is yet to confirm the official launch date of the Note 11 5G in India.
