Redmi Watch 3 and Redmi Band 2 with up to 14 Days Battery Life Launched: Price, Specifications

Along with the launch of the Redmi K60 series and Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition mid-range device in China last evening, Redmi also launched two new wearables. The brand launched the Redmi Watch 3 and Redmi Band 2 一 successors to the Redmi Watch 2 and Redmi Band respectively.

The Redmi Band 2 is the most affordable among the two and the Watch 3 is the one that comes with more premium features. The Watch 3 offers an AMOLED screen, Bluetooth calling support, NFC, and up to 12 days of battery life on a single charge. Let’s take a look at both the new wearables in detail.

Redmi Watch 3: Features, Price, and Availability

The Redmi Watch 3 sports a 1.75-inch AMOLED with 390×450 resolution. In terms of sensors, the watch offers an optical heart rate sensor, SpO2 monitor, acceleration sensor, gyroscope, and geomagnetic sensor. It is also waterproof as it comes with a 5ATM rating.

On the inside, the device is fitted with Bluetooth 5.2, which offers a stable connection and also supports calling support. The Watch 3 is backed by a 289mAh battery that can last up to 12 days on a single charge. The watch also comes with built-in GPS, which means users can use the watch independently. Other features include 200+ watch faces, NFC, built-in mic and speaker, and 120+ sports modes.

The Redmi Watch 3 is priced at CNY 499 (~Rs 5,900) and comes in Black and Ivory White color options. The wearable is now available for purchase in China.

Redmi Band 2: Features, Price, and Availability

The Redmi Band 2 offers a 1.47-inch TFT screen with 172 x 320 pixels. The screen can get as bright as 450 nits. The band is equipped with an optical heart rate sensor and accelerometer. On the inside, the Redmi Band 2 comes with a 210mAh battery pack, which is rated to last up to 14 days on a single charge.

As for the fitness and sports modes, the Band 2 offers support for 30+ sports modes. Other feature includes a 5ATM rating, sleep tracking, Bluetooth 5.1, 100+ watch faces, camera control, music control, find my phone, and more.

The Redmi Band 2 is priced at CNY 159 (~Rs 1,900) and is available in Black and White color options. The company also sells straps for the same in multiple color options.

While there is no word on the global launch of these devices, we can expect both wearables to arrive outside of China in 2023, going by the previous track record.
