Reliance Jio True 5G Now Available In 134 Cities: Here is the List

Reliance Jio is leading in terms of launching 5G services in the country. So far, the telco has launched True 5G services in more than 100 cities and plans to cover all circles by the end of this year. Jio added True 5G services to 16 more cities on Tuesday (January 18th, 2023), including Davanagere, Hospet, Bidar, Gadag-Betagiri (Karnataka), Kakinada, Kurnool (Andhra Pradesh), Silchar (Assam), Shivamogga, Kannur, Kottayam, Palakkad (Kerala), Tiruppur (Tamil Nadu), Khammam, Nizamabad (Telangana), and Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh). After this launch, Jio True 5G services are now available in 134 cities in the country.

This clearly shows that Reliance Jio has become the only telecom operator that launched 5G services in the majority of the cities. The company said that it has now launched True 5G services in 16 cities in 7 states and customers will be getting an invitation under the Welcome Offer. Airtel 5G Plus Services In India

It is worth noting that India’s second largest telecom operator Airtel has launched 5G in 45 cities, so far and managed to convert 1 million users to its 5G network. The company is also expanding its 5G services at a slow pace and is likely to cover all circles by the end of March 2024. However, the Reliance Jio network is much more advanced and based on standalone technology, while Airtel launched 5G Plus services that are dependent on non-standalone technology. Jio launched 5G services on 700 MHz ( the most advanced and offers better connectivity), 3500 MHz, and 26 GHz bands.
