Samsung has unveiled yet another mid-range A-series smartphone – the Samsung Galaxy A24. The Samsung Galaxy A24 makes its global debut in Vietnam and is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor. The mid-range smartphone from Samsung features an AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and offers a 50MP camera setup.

The Samsung Galaxy A24 is an LTE-only device that is backed by a 5000mAh battery unit. Other highlights of the handset include a 13MP front camera, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a dedicated microSD card slot. Samsung Galaxy A24: Price and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy A24 has been launched in two RAM and storage variants – the 6GB + 128GB model costs VDN 6,490,000 (roughly Rs 23,000) while 8GB+128GB at VDN 6,990,000 (roughly Rs 25,000). In addition, we can expect the company soon to launch the phone in other markets, including India.

At the moment, Samsung is yet to reveal India and global availability of the device.

Samsung Galaxy A24: Specifications and Features

The Samsung Galaxy A24 flaunts a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a Full HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixel) resolution and an Infinity-U notch. The display panel supports up to 1000 nits brightness.

Under the hood, the all-new Galaxy A24 sports an octa-core processor with a 2.2GHz peak frequency. Samsung has not specified which processor is being used on the Galaxy A24. However, benchmark listings and previous leaks suggested that the Galaxy A24 will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor.

The Samsung Galaxy A24 offers a triple-rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary shooter with optical image stabilisation and an f/1.8 aperture. Accompanying it are a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and an LED flash. The smartphone packs a 13MP front shooter that takes care of selfies and video calls.

The all-new Galaxy A24 comes equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit and relies on a USB 2.0 Type-C port. Samsung has not revealed the charging capabilities of the device. However, based on previous leaks, it might support up to 25W fast charging. The device relies on a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the security front. It also offers a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Samsung Galaxy A24 comes in four colour options – Lime Green, Vampire Black, Silver Mirror, and Burgundy. It weighs 195 grams and measures 162.1 x 77.6 x 8.3mm. Connectivity options of the device include Dual-SIM, 4G, WiFi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, and Galileo.
