Samsung is gearing up to expand its A series lineup with the new Galaxy A25 5G. Recently, the smartphone was spotted on the Geekbench database, revealing its key specifications. Today, the team at MySmartPrice spotted the device on the FCC certification website with the SM-A256U model number.
According to the FCC listing, the upcoming Galaxy A25 5G will have 25W fast charging capability. It also reveals NFC and 5G connectivity with n2/5/25/29/30/41/48/66/70/71/77 bands.
According to the recent Geekbench listing, the upcoming Galaxy A25 5G will have an octa-core Exynos 1280 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM. The smartphone will run on Android 13-based OneUI out of the box. It scored 937 and 2106 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively, on the Geekbench platform.
Moreover, the previous leak indicates that the Galaxy A25 5G will sport a 6.44-inch display. If the leaked images are believed, the handset will feature a water drop-shaped notch designed to house the selfie camera. It also reveals that the smartphone will feature a 50MP primary sensor, and on the front, it is expected to feature a 13MP selfie shooter.
Currently, Samsung has not yet announced any details about its upcoming smartphone. More information about the Galaxy A25 5G is expected to become available in the coming days. The Galaxy A25 5G will follow the release of the Galaxy A24, which was introduced in April this year.
For reference, the Galaxy A24 is powered by an octa-core Helio G99 SoC and offers up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It comes with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display featuring Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.
