Ahead of the official launch, YouTuber TD Review has posted the unboxing videos of both smartphones for all to see. We can see the Galaxy A54 5G in a white finish, whereas the Galaxy A34 5G is spotted in a mint green colourway. These shades are a far cry from the subtle and dull paint jobs on the flagship Galaxy S23 series. Let’s take a look at these videos.
As mentioned, the leaked unboxing videos of the upcoming Galaxy A-series smartphones have been posted on the Vietnamese YouTube channel TD Review. The video begins with the YouTuber showing off the slim packaging of these devices, which means no chargers in the box. The Galaxy A54 5G flaunts a pastel mint green colour on the back with matching metallic sides. On the other hand, the Galaxy A34 5G seems to flaunt an aurora white colourway with a silver finish on the side.
Both devices are indiscernible from the rear because of the same rising triple camera setup, flash placement, and form factor. However, you can tell the devices apart by their display. Per the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G listing on Media Markt, the smartphone will flaunt a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity O display with a 120Hz refresh rate. At its core, the smartphone features an octa-core Samsung Exynos 1380 chipset with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage and support for up to 1TB microSD cards. As for the cameras, the handset is equipped with a 50MP + 12MP + 5MP rear camera setup and a 32MP selfie camera. Other features include Android 13, a 5,000mAh battery, 25W fast charging, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and an IP67 rating for water and dust proofing.
The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G Media Markt listing also bares it all. The phone flaunts a 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. It boots Android 13 out of the box and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. The phone flaunts a 48MP + 8MP + 5MP rear setup in the optics department and a 13MP front camera. It also has an on-display fingerprint scanner.
