Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G smartphone in March 2023 in the global markets, including India. The publication confirms that the South Korean giant will debut the upcoming Galaxy A5x series smartphones in Q2 of 2024.

The South Korean giant halted the Galaxy A7x series smartphones to boost the sales of Samsung Galaxy FE smartphones. The official-looking renders of the Galaxy A55 5G smartphone confirm that the device will launch in three colourways.

Samsung will likely debut the smartphone in Awesome Iceblue, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Navy colourways. The renders divulge a similar design to its predecessor, the Galaxy A54 5G smartphone. The key island comprising the power button and volume rockers can be seen on the right side of the device.

Samsung debuted the Key Island design with a slightly bumped space to house power and volume rockers with the Galaxy A25 5G and Galaxy A15 5G smartphones. The antenna lines can be seen on the sides of the smartphone, confirming the use of a metal frame.

The left side of the smartphone is clean except for the antenna lines. A triple rear camera with individual camera rings and LED flash can be seen on the device’s rear. Samsung equips the smartphone with rounded edge corners similar to the existing smartphone.

The upcoming device will sport a centred punch hole cutout to house the selfie camera. The GeekBench listing of the smartphone confirmed that it will sport the in-house Exynos 1480 SoC. The upcoming smartphone has scored 1127 points in single-core and 3090 points in multi-core tests.

The Galaxy A55 5G device will run on One UI based on Android 14 out of the box. The chipset has four performance and efficiency cores at 2.75GHz and 2.05GHz. Samsung equips the in-house chipset with Xclipse 530 GPU. The chipset will pair with up to 8GB of RAM in the global markets, including India.

The 3C certification obtained by the device confirmed the presence of 25W wired fast charging support. The smartphone is expected to be backed by a large 5000mAh battery. The AMOLED display of the device will also house the in-display fingerprint scanner.
