Samsung Galaxy F13 will launch in India next week. After hinting at the launch on Flipkart a couple of days back, the company has now confirmed the launch date of the phone. The Samsung Galaxy F13 will be launched in India on June 22nd. The launch event will be held at 12 noon next Wednesday.
Ahead of the launch, Samsung has confirmed the phone’s battery capacity, colour options, screen resolution, and a couple of other features via the Flipkart listing. The Galaxy F13 was spotted on the geekbench database with the “SM-E135F” model number and also the India support page for the same went live a couple of weeks back. Let’s take a look at the phone’s specifications.
Samsung Galaxy F13: Specifications and Features
The Samsung Galaxy F13 will feature a Full HD+ IPS display. It will pack in a 6,000mAh battery with support for 15W charging speed, which is hard to call fast charging in 2022. The Flipkart poster also confirms the device to feature up to 8GB of RAM with the RAM Plus feature, which means including the Virtual RAM support, the device will offer 8GB of RAM, so we can expect the device to feature 4/6GB of RAM and an addition 2/4GB of Virtual RAM.
The device will also come with a new feature called auto data switching, which switches data from one SIM to another for better connectivity if you are using a dual SIM. This will be Samsung’s first device to get the feature in the budget segment.
Other features that we could spot from the teaser include a 3.5mm headphone jack, dew-drop style notch, triple-rear camera setup, and likely the side-mounted power button, as well as side, mounted fingerprint scanner. The device will be available in three colour options Green, Blue, and Rose Gold.
The Samsung Galaxy F13 was previously spotted on the Geekbench database, which revealed more specs of the device. The Galaxy F13 will be powered by an in-house Exynos 850 processor with a peak clock speed of 2.0GHz. The upcoming budget phone will run on Android 12 out of the box with OneUI 4.0 on top of Android. The device was spotted with 4GB of RAM on the database.
The Samsung Galaxy F12 was launched in India back in April 2021 and it was priced under Rs 12,000. We can expect the F13 to be priced around the same price bracket.
