Samsung Galaxy F15 5G Specs Confirmed

It is revealed that the upcoming F-series smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. The phone will also sport an sAMOLED display with a waterdrop notch. It will come with Samsung’s signature design, which includes vertically-arranged rear cameras and a minimal look.

The handset will be equipped with a 6,000mAh battery. The company has also announced that the upcoming F-series smartphone will be eligible for four Android version upgrades and five years of security patch updates, which will be a first for the segment. This can be a major win for consumers. To recall, the company promised only two Android version upgrades for the previous generation F-series handset – the Samsung Galaxy F14 5G.

The Samsung Galaxy F15 5G will also offer a Voice Focus feature, which silences all background sounds with noise cancellation during phone calls. The upcoming F-series smartphone will come in three colour options – green, purple, and black.

Samsung hasn’t mentioned anything about the fingerprint sensor explicitly in teasers on micro-site but based on images, it appears that the Samsung Galaxy F15 5G will be equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which will also double as the power button.

In all likelihood, the upcoming F-series handset appears to be a rebranded Samsung Galaxy A15 5G (launched in December 2023) with a larger battery and slight design changes. To know more about the Galaxy F15’s price and more details, stay tuned until March 4!
