Samsung is reportedly in the works to launch a new mid-range smartphone, which will be dubbed the Samsung Galaxy M12. Not too long ago, we spotted the Samsung Galaxy M12 on the Indian BIS certification website, which hinted at an imminent launch of the device in India. Today, we have been able to spot the Samsung Galaxy M12 on the Geekbench database website, which gives us a working clue as to what some of its specifications and features will be. Take a look at the Geekbench listing of the Samsung Galaxy M12 smartphone and find out what it has in store for us.
Samsung Galaxy M12 visits Geekbench ahead of launch
As seen in the Geekbench database image, the Samsung Galaxy M12 (with the model number SM-M127F) has managed to pull off 178 in the single-core test and 1,025 in the multi-core test. Furthermore, the Geekbench listing reveals that the Samsung Galaxy M12 will be powered by an octa-core Exynos 850 processor, which will be paired with 3GB of RAM. We can, however, expect the device to launch in more RAM variants as well.
Coming to the software, the Geekbench listing confirms that the Samsung Galaxy M12 will boot the latest Android 11 OS out of the box. Other than what we have mentioned so far, the Geekbench listing does not tell us anything else about the device.
That said, previous leaks suggest that the device will feature a quadruple rear camera setup (13MP + 5MP + 2MP + 2MP). At the front, the Samsung Galaxy M12 is tipped to feature an 8MP selfie snapper. There will be a USB Type-C charging port at the bottom. Plus, the device is said to retain a 3.5mm headphone jack. Coming to the battery of the device, the Samsung Galaxy M12 is said to feature a massive 7,000mAh battery.
