Samsung is working on a new Galaxy M-series device. The company has already launched the Galaxy M42 5G and Galaxy M32 in India. Another smartphone that is expected to debut soon in the world’s second-largest smartphone market is the Galaxy M21 2021. The company is yet to confirm the official launch details of the budget smartphone. As the name suggests, the 2021 version is likely to offer some improvements over the outgoing model launched last year. Details of this budget Samsung smartphone have leaked online. Let’s take a look at the Samsung Galaxy M21 (2021) specifications, features, and other leaked details.

Samsung Galaxy M21 (2021) specs leaked

Samsung Galaxy M21 India launch date remains unknown at the moment. Ahead of the launch, the device’s specs have leaked online. The 91Mobiles report, citing tipster Ishan Agarwal as the source, has revealed the key specs of the upcoming Samsung phone. According to the report, the Galaxy M21 (2021) will have the same hardware as last year’s model. So what’s new? The report states that the 2021 edition will launch with Android 11 OS featuring the One UI 3.1 Core customisation out of the box. That is the only change the device is getting later this year. If you look at it, the standard M21 received the Android 11 update earlier this year. This means that the only major change is the name, which could be used to refresh the memory of potential customers to simply clear the pending stocks.

The standard M21 had received a price cut of Rs 1,000 earlier this year. It would be interesting to see if the company launches the 2021 variant with the same price tag. The last year’s model came in 4GB and 6GB RAM options. The 4GB RAM model with 64GB storage was priced at 12,999, whereas the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage was available for Rs 14,999 for the offline market.

The M21 (2021) model is likely to sport the same 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ display. The screen has a water-drop notch for the front camera. On the back is a triple-camera setup. The device has a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. It comes with a 20MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

Under the hood, the phone packs a massive 6,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. The device draws power from Samsung’s Exynos 9611 chipset. It could come with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. You can use a microSD card to expand the storage by 512GB.
