Samsung launched the Galaxy S21 series smartphones earlier this year. The Galaxy S21 lineup consists of three devices that include the Galaxy S21 5G, Galaxy S21+ 5G and the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G. These handsets ran initially Android 11 out of the box with OneUI 3.1 on top. The company announced the OneUI 4.0 beta update based on Android 12 a few days back. Additionally, Samsung also confirmed that the first device to receive the Android 12 will be the Galaxy S21 trio. The brand also assured that its recruiting beta tester to try out the Android 12 update. However, as of now, Samsung has not rolled out the OneUI 4.0 update based on Android 12 for the Galaxy S21 series. The Android 12 update release now looks right around the corner for S21 series, considering that the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is spotted running Android 12 on Geekbench. According to the Geekbench listing which we have spotted, we can see that the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is running Android 12. As mentioned above, the company as of now has not released Android 12 beta for the Galaxy S21 trio. Now, that the S21 Ultra 5G is spotted running Android 12, we can expect Samsung to release the beta update for the S21 lineup in the upcoming few days or weeks. Once, the Android 12 beta update goes live for the Samsung Galaxy S21 lineup, we can expect Samsung to release the Android 12 software update for more devices.
