Update: After the Galaxy S24 Plus, the Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24 Ultra also have received the FCC certification. The Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24 Ultra are listed on the certification website with model numbers SM-S921U and SM-S928U respectively.

Additionally, the global Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra have received the FCC certification. The certification listing reveals that the lineup will have UWB, 5G, and NFC support.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series launch is now a few weeks away. Ahead of the official debut, we are learning new details about the S24 lineup since the last couple of months courtesy of several leaks and certifications. Recently, the top-end model in the lineup, the Galaxy S24 Ultra made it to the NBTC certification. The listing revealed that the handset will be offering 5G support. Now, in a recent development, the Galaxy S24+ US version has received the FCC certification.

Samsung Galaxy S24+ Will Have UWB Connectivity And 5G Support As Revealed by FCC Certification

The FCC certification details the model number of the Galaxy S24+ smartphone as SM-S926U. Furthermore, the certification documents reveal that the device was tested with a charger (EP-TA800) having 25W fast charging support. The listing also reveals that the handset will have UWB connectivity, NFC, and 5G support. Besides, these details no other specifications of the smartphone is currently revealed through the FCC certification.

The past leak suggests that the Galaxy S24+ will feature a 6.7-inch display. The display panel is supposed to include a punch-hole cutout at the centre which no doubt will include a selfie camera. The device is expected to measure around 158.5 x 75.9 x 7.75 mm in terms of dimensions. Under the hood, the device will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, as revealed by the Geekbench listing earlier.

The device might pack up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of internal storage. Its worth noting that more RAM and storage configurations could be available at the launch. On the software side of things, the S24 lineup will run Android 14 out of the box with the company’s One UI 6 interface on top.

As for the imaging purpose, the S24+ will be relying on a triple-camera setup. The camera module might include a 50MP Samsung GN3 sensor, a 10MP telephoto camera with a 3x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. The front of the device is expected to consist of a 12MP selfie camera. The smartphone is likely to pack a 4,900mAh battery which will offer up to 45W fast charging support as revealed by the 3C certification previously.
