Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 2021 Surfaces on FCC, Hinting Imminent Launch

Samsung is gearing up to launch a new budget tablet soon in the A-series. The company is preparing to launch the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7. The next tablet in the A-series will be the Galaxy Tab A8 2021 which is said to come with a 10.5-inch display, Unisoc SoC, and more. Now, the device has been spotted on FCC hinting at an imminent launch.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 2021 Spotted on FCC

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 2021 with model number SM-X205 was spotted on the FCC listing recently. Usually, a product will pass through FCC near to the launch and with the Galaxy Tab A8 2021 spotted on FCC now, the launch event could happen in the coming weeks.

A separate TUV Rheinland certification has revealed the battery capacity and also the charging speed of the tablet. The Galaxy Tab A8 2021 will pack in a 7,040mAh battery and will offer 7.8W charging speed (5V, 1.55A).

In terms of other specifications, as per the previous leaks, the Tab A8 2021 will sport a 10.5-inch TFT WUXGA (1920 × 1200 pixels) display with a 60Hz refresh rate. On the inside, the device is said to be powered by a Unisoc T618 processor. The tab is said to be available in three configurations 一 3GB + 32GB, 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB storage options. In terms of optics, the tablet will have a single 8MP rear camera. It will have a 5MP front camera as well for video calls and selfies.

In terms of colour options, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 2021 will be available in three colours – Grey, Gold and Silver. As of now, there is no word from Samsung on the launch date of the tablet in India and also globally.
