Update: A new Samsung Galaxy tablet is spotted on Geekbench recently which possesses model number as the SM-X516B. We expect this to be the Galaxy Tab S9 Lite variant. However, as of now, this moniker is yet to be confirmed. As per the Geekbench listing, the Samsung SM-X516B will feature Exynos 1380 SoC and 6GB of RAM. The tablet will run Android 13 out of the box, as per the listing.

Samsung is working towards the launch of the Galaxy Tab S8 series successor in the form of the Galaxy Tab S9 lineup. The upcoming Galaxy Tab S9 series is expected to include three devices namely the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9 Plus and the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. A couple of days back, the Galaxy Tab S9 Plus renders were revealed by leakster OnLeaks. The leak disclosed the design and specifications of the Galaxy Tab S9 Plus. Additionally, some specifications of the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra were revealed by Ice Universe. Now, in a recent development, some specifications of the Galaxy Tab S9 and the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra are revealed by Geekbench listing.

According to the Geekbench test result, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will be powered by 3.36GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The tablet will pack 8GB of RAM. On the software side of things, the device will run Android 13 OS out of the box with One UI 5.1 skin on top. In the Geekbench test result, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra has managed to pull off 2028 points in the single-core test result, while in the multi-core test result, the tablet has scored 5376 points. As far as the specifications of the Galaxy Tab S9 is concerned, it will also pack a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and 8GB of RAM. Similar to the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, the vanilla model will run Android 13 OS.

The Galaxy Tab S9 has scored 1928 and 4727 points in the single-core and multi-core tests respectively. The previous leak suggests that the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will feature a 14.6-inch display with a WQXGA+ resolution. The tablet is expected to pack a 11m200mAh battery which could offer 45W fast charging support. The past leak also reveals that the device will pack up to 16GB of RAM. The tablet will measure 208.6 x 326.4 x 5.5mm in terms of dimensions and will weigh around 737 grams.

Furthermore, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is also expected to offer IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. As far as the launch of the Galaxy Tab S9 series is concerned, it is expected to make its debut in the second half of 2023. Additionally, all the Galaxy Tab S9 series devices are expected to include both 5G and Wi-Fi variants.
