Samsung is preparing to reveal its latest Tab Active 5 Tablet. It will follow the Tab Active4 Pro, launched in October last year. Recently, the device made its appearance on the FCC certification website. Today, we have spotted the Galaxy Tab Active 5 5G on the Google Play Console database with the SM-X306B model number.
The listing on the Google Play Console gives us a glimpse at the device’s display. As we can see in the image, the Galaxy Tab Active 5 5G will have thick bezels around the display and a home, back, and recent task button at the bottom of the device. The upper side of the bezel will house the speaker and selfie camera.
The listing on the Google Play Console confirms the moniker of the device. It also states that the device will have 6GB RAM and run on Android 14 out of the box. The device will have a 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution and 320 dpi pixel density and will draw power from the Exynos 1380 5G chipset.
Apart from that, a recent listing on the FCC certification shows that the tablet will have 128GB of internal storage and microSD support for up to 64GB, S-Pen support, and a 15W charger.
The tablet also appeared on the popular Geekbench database with the SM-X306B model number. It scored 1022 in the single-core test and 2815 in the multicore test.
Just to recall, the Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro packs a 10.1-inch TFT LCD with a 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset paired with an Adreno 642L GPU.
