Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra Availability Might Be Limited

A report from Galaxy Club states that Samsung will debut the upcoming Ultra smartphone with the SM-F958 model number. To recall, Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Fold 5 with the SM-F946 model number. The vanilla Galaxy Z Fold 6 was recently spotted on multiple certifications with the SM-F956 model number.

The “6” in the last digital always stands for the foldable smartphones from the brand. However, the recently launched Galaxy S24 Ultra and all other previous Galaxy Ultra smartphones debuted with a model number ending with “8,” meaning that the first Ultra Galaxy foldable is coming soon. The publication further adds that the Ultra variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 might be limited to South Korea.

The report doesn’t confirm the development of the smartphone with the SM-F958 model number in any other regions. The previous leaks suggest that Samsung could equip the Ultra variant with a dedicated slot for housing the S-Pen. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra is also tipped to sport a larger cover and inner screens, measuring 6.25-inch and 7.61-inch, respectively.

In related news, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphones were recently certified by China’s 3C authority. The certification reveals that Samsung will debut smartphones with support for 25W wired fast charging tech. Samsung will equip the next-gen foldable duo with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Made for Galaxy chipsets.
