Sony has started teasing a new pair of TWS earbuds for the Indian market. The company has shared a video on X (formerly Twitter) showcasing the product. The design of the earbud suggests that the company is gearing up to launch its INZONE Gaming Earbuds in India, which were released in international markets a few weeks back.
These earbuds are curated specially for gamers and include features like spatial audio. It helps gamers to identify footsteps and other in-game sounds more efficiently. Sony has been quite focused on its gaming accessories in India. The company had also launched a new pair of gaming headphones in the country last month.

While headphones are more popular among gamers, the small form factor and portability of TWS earbuds have started to appeal to the gaming community, especially among mobile gamers. However, most of the TWS earbuds are focused on the music and calling aspects and often lack the fine-tuning to cater to a gamer’s needs.
The INZONE Earbuds by Sony are aimed to fill this exact void. These come with active noise cancellation, which is much needed for gaming earbuds. Although most gaming headphones do not feature ANC, their over-the-ear design helps them provide significant sound isolation.
Another highlight of Sony’s gaming earbuds is the support for 360 spatial sound. It allows gamers to identify the origin of the sound of a specific element. This can be very helpful in shooting games. Sony also provides a feature where gamers can take a picture of their earlobe, and the earbud will adjust its sound profile accordingly.

The Sony INZONE Gaming Earbuds are priced at $199.99 in international markets. We can expect it to be priced at around Rs 25,000 in India. The company has not confirmed the exact launch date yet.
In December 2023, Sony also launched its INZONE 5 wireless gaming headphones in India. They come with a standard over-the-ear design and also feature spacial audio, as found on the gaming earbuds. the headset also offers a battery life of up to 28 hours.
