TECNO has announced the TECNO CAMON 30 Premier 5G at the MWC 2024 event alongside the CAMON 30, CAMON 30 5G, and CAMON 30 Pro 5G smartphones. The phone’s main highlight is the company’s PolarAce Imaging System, which comes with AI tidbits. Have a look at the details below.

TECNO PolarAce Imaging System

TECNO’s PolarAce Imaging System is powered by a CXD5622GG Sony Imaging chip. The company integrates its Universal Tone technology, which uses AI to render accurate skin tones.

The PolaraAce Imaging System also utilises Sony’s Lytia components. The imaging system will support end-side FP16 floating computing for enhanced computing power. TECNO claims the imaging system can achieve 4.6 TFLOPS at FP16 (16-bit floating point).

This system has four engines, which include NeuroNR Turbo, NeuroColor Turbo, NeuroHDR Turbo, and NeuroFPS Turbo to restore colour to its optimum level and also reduce noise, enhance HDR, and enhance video recording capability to capture all the details even in low-light situations.

TECNO claims that the engines assist the device in maintaining smoothness while recording videos with long durations and full-scene HDR. The imaging system can also process the RAW domain by offering a 30.3 dB signal to improve the noise ratio and offer lossless picture quality. The technology will also consume less power during the shooting of videos in 4K at 30 fps.
