TECNO has officially unveiled its Dynamic 1 robotic dog and Pocket Go AR gaming set at the ongoing MWC 2024. The company’s two new product category devices were shown alongside the POVA 6 Pro 5G smartphone. Both new products have a different target audience. TECNO Dynamic 1 Robotic Dog: Features, Specifications

The TECNO Dynamic 1 is a robotic dog that wants to become your AI-powered daily life companion. According to the company, it can be used in different scenarios like education, smart home entertainment, training, and assistance.

TECNO’s AI Robotic dog can be controlled using smartphones, voice commands, and remote controllers. It has an octa-core ARM CPU and an Intel RealSense D430 depth camera module for better performance. The company claims a top speed of 3.7 m/s and a torque output of 45N.m/kg.

It has a cooling system in the knee joints allows it to climb stairs and perform gestures like shaking hands and bowing. There is 64GB of storage, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity options. The Dynamic 1 robotic dog comes packed with a 15,000mAh battery.

It can last for up to 90 minutes on a single charge. It also supports battery swapping so you can charge one battery while using the other.

TECNO Pocket Go AR Gaming Set: Features, Specifications

The TECNO Pocket Go is a handheld gaming device that comes bundled with a pair of AR glasses. It is claimed to be the world’s smallest AR handheld and can deliver an immersive 6D gaming experience. For comparison, it claims to be 30% lighter and 50% smaller than a standard Windows gaming handheld.

The AR headset sports a 0.71-inch micro-OLED screen that can emulate the viewing experience of a 215-inch TV placed six meters away. It is officially called the AR Pocket Vision. It has a six-axis gyroscope and supports advanced AI head-tracking and vibration algorithms. There are adjustable diopter settings of up to 600 degrees.

The Pocket Go handheld is powered by an 8-core, 16-thread CPU with turbo frequencies up to 5.1GHz. Tecno has opted for a 50Whr replaceable battery but did not share any numbers related to battery life.

It comes with the TECNO Smart Box, a central hub for managing games and settings. The best part is it can connect with other TECNO devices as part of the TECNO ecosystem and transform into a mobile workstation.
