The Google Play Console listing shows the forthcoming POVA 6 smartphone with the TECNO-LI7 model number. The listing confirms the moniker of the upcoming TECNO POVA series smartphone.
The database reveals that TECNO will equip the smartphone with a flat display with a Full HD+ resolution (2436×1080 pixels) and a pixel density of 480 PPI. An octa-core MediaTek SoC with the MT6789/CD codename will power the upcoming POVA 6 smartphone.
The chipset features two Cortex A76 cores at 2.2GHz, six Cortex A55 cores at 2.0GHz, and a Mali G57 GPU. The codename confirms that TECNO will launch the smartphone with the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. The forthcoming vanilla POVA 6 smartphone will run on Android 14 out of the box.
TECNO could launch the smartphone with 8GB of RAM and is also expected to debut with other configurations. The render revealed through Google Play Console confirms the presence of a power button and volume rockers on the right side of the device.
TECNO will equip the smartphone with rounded corners and fairly sized bezels on all four sides of the display. We have also spotted the smartphone on multiple other certifications, including FCC, SIRIM, and more.
TECNO POVA 6: What We Know So Far
The FCC database has confirmed that TECNO will equip the smartphone with a 5,850mAh-rated battery with 70W wired fast charging tech. The Declaration of Conformity certification reveals that the device will sport a battery with a typical value of 6,000mAh.
The database adds that the POVA 6 will measure 166x76x8 mm. The schematic render reveals that TECNO will debut the device with a dual camera setup on the rear similar to the TECNO POVA 6 Pro smartphone unveiled at MWC 2024.
The smartphone will debut with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, as per the FCC database. The NBTC and SIRIM certifications secured by the smartphone reveal that the global launch is near. The other specifications of the smartphone are unknown at the moment.
