2023 is about to end and we are going to enter another spectacular year of gaming extravaganza. We have a bunch of first-party AAA titles coming in next year with January releases headlined by the latest instalment in Bandai Namco’s iconic fighting series, Tekken 8.
Tekken 8 will be the first major gaming release of 2024. The game was announced in September 2022, and after a year, the Tekken 8 Demo has arrived on PS5 while the demo versions for Xbox and PC are set to be available from tomorrow i.e., December 21.

Players can only pre-order the standard edition of the game for PS5 which costs Rs 4,799 at GST. The pre-orders also live now PlayStation Store, Xbox Store and Steam, however, you will not get the T-shirt as a bonus if you buy it there.

Bandai Namco has proudly showcased the visual excellence and improved gameplay details of their upcoming title through a closed beta and numerous trailers. These promotional efforts highlight the Unreal Engine-powered products, emphasizing their stunning graphics and enticing features.
The developers also launched a pre-order trailer showcasing the features of its different editions. Tekken 8 will be available in multiple editions, namely Standard (base game), Deluxe and Ultimate editions.
Pre-ordering the standard edition will get you the base game along with the pre-order bonus. The deluxe edition encompasses exclusive items like 32 character costumes as part of the Gold Suits Pack, Avatar Skin: Kinjin and Playable Character Year 1 Pass along with base game & pre-order bonus. The Ultimate Edition consists of all the items available in Standard and Deluxe editions and additionally, it comprises three avatar skins for Kazuya, Jun, Jin and classic Tekken 32 T-shirt sets. However, pre-ordering the game is not necessary to enjoy the game to the fullest, although it lets you claim exclusive cosmetic bonuses:

Tekken 8 features a total of 32 characters in the game and the game will feature a starting roster of 21 playable characters upon release. Making her first appearance in 25 years since vanishing in Tekken 2, Jun Kazama returns to the storyline in Tekken 8.
Tekken 8 is set to release on 26 January for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC(Steam). Crafted with Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 5.1, it stands as one of the visually striking titles in the fighting games genre.
