Infinix is gearing up to launch its first 5G-enabled smartphone soon in India. The company has already confirmed it is working on a 5G phone and a few weeks back the specifications of the upcoming Infinix Zero 5G phone were leaked online revealing details on detail, processor, display, and more. Now, the company has confirmed one of the key features of the device. The upcoming Infinix 5G phone will come with “MemFusion” feature. Let’s take a look at this feature in detail.

What is MemFusion Feature?

In simple words, MemFusion is just a fancy name for the Virtual RAM feature, that became quite popular among brands in 2021. MemFusion is the name of the Virtual RAM feature on the upcoming Infinix Zero 5G phone. Essentially, once this feature is enabled, users will be able to use the built-in storage as RAM for not so heavy tasks and apps. With this feature enabled, you can extend the RAM for slightly better and smooth performance.Infinix Zero 5G

The upcoming Infinix 5G device will offer the option to extend RAM by 2GB, 3GB or 5GB. To enable this feature when launched, users can go to Setting > Special Function > MemFusion. Once this is enabled, it needs a restart. As per the company’s insights, with the MemFusion feature, the number of apps that the Infinix Zero Series will run will increase from 9 to 20 simultaneously. With the same 20 apps running, the average startup speed of applications can be increased by 60% approx.

In terms of other specifications of the device, as per the earlier leaks, the device is said to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor. It is said to sport a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display and 120Hz refresh rate. On the inside, the phone will pack in a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
