The Carl Pei-led smartphone brand is all set to unveil its latest mid-range smartphone, the Nothing Phone 2a. The company has already revealed the majority of details about the smartphone. It will have Nothing’s iconic transparent design with a small set of glyph lights at the back. It will also draw power from the new MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC.
Based on leaks and rumours, it is said to have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display boasting a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. The smartphone will likely have a 50MP Samsung sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
The device is anticipated to house a 32MP selfie camera. Additionally, reports suggest a 5,000mAh battery and support for 45W fast charging.

Vivo V30 Series
Vivo is all set to expand its V series lineup in India with the latest V30 series. It is expected to have two smartphones, the standard V30 and V30 Pro. These devices were recently unveiled in Indonesia.
Notably, the Pro variant stands out with a new ZEISS camera, marking the first collaboration between a premium lens manufacturer and a premium mid-range smartphone. Typically, ZEISS partnerships are reserved for Vivo’s ultra-premium smartphones, such as the Vivo X series.
Both smartphones sport a Schott Xensation Alpha glass and a 1.5k curved AMOLED display. The standard V30 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 with Adreno 720 GPU, while the V30 Pro houses the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 with Mali G610 GPU.

The Vivo V30 Series is confirmed to arrive in India on March 7.

iQOO Z9
Last month, iQOO revealed its iQOO Neo 9 Pro smartphone, and now the company is gearing up to unveil its Z series smartphone, the iQOO Z9. While the company has been tight-lipped about the device’s details, tipster Yogesh Brar has disclosed some key information about the upcoming smartphone.
Brar says the iQOO Z9 will feature a 6.6-inch AMOLED display boasting FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is expected to showcase a central punch-hole cutout to accommodate the selfie camera, a departure from its predecessor’s water drop notch design.
Teasers released by iQOO confirm that a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC will power the smartphone. iQOO asserts that the device achieves a score exceeding 734,000 points on the AnTuTu V10 benchmarking platform. The tipster adds that the smartphone will operate on Funtouch OS 14, based on Android 14.
Nipun Marya, CEO of iQOO India, unveiled the smartphone’s design in a post on X (formerly Twitter). The teaser exposes a textured pattern on the rear of the device. iQOO also verifies that the device will feature a 50MP Sony IMX 882 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
According to the tipster, the primary sensor will be accompanied by a 2MP secondary sensor. The smartphone is expected to boast a 16MP selfie snapper. The device will be supported by a 5000mAh battery with 44W fast wired charging support.
iQOO Z9 India Launch and Availability
The company has already confirmed that the iQOO Z9 will launch on March 12 in India.

Xiaomi 14
The Chinese smartphone maker unveiled its Xiaomi 14 series at the MWC 2024. It consists of two smartphones, the vanilla Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro. While these devices have been available in China for a while, the company is preparing to launch the standard Xiaomi 14 in India.
The smartphone packs the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. But the main highlight of this smartphone is its Leica Summilux optical lenses and the newly announced HyperOS.
It features a triple Leica professional lens with a Light Fusion 900 image sensor for the primary lens. The smartphone also comes with all the bells and whistles, like the 6.36-inch LTPO AMOLED Display, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage, 90W fast charging, and much more.

The Realme 12 Plus is expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is expected to run on the Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 out of the box.
The smartphone will likely feature a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and 2MP macro sensor. On the front, it is said to house a 16MP selfie shooter.

Both smartphones will maintain the familiar rear design seen in most Samsung devices from 2023, boasting rounded corners and slim bezels. Users can expect a flat display and a centrally located punch-hole selfie camera on the front.
