Thalapathy-starrer action movie Varisu is finally making its Hindi debut, and we cannot hold our excitement. The movie was released in the cinema on January 11 and is considered one of the biggest hits in 2023. Amazon Prime Videos holds the streaming rights to the film, and the movie made it to the OTT platform on February 10. Now, the streaming giant has confirmed that Varisu will be available in the Hindi language on March 8th. Interestingly, the film is currently available on the platform in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. However, the film is available under different names for different languages. For example, the film is known as Vaarasudu in Telugu, Vamshajan in Malayalam, and Vaarsadara in the Kannada language.

Plot
Varisu’s protagonist, Thalapthy Vijay, is a cheerful guy named Vijay Rajendran. The film is reminiscent of a classic Tamil family sitcom. As his foster father dies in an inexplicable situation, his character’s circumstances shift, and he suddenly finds himself in command of a multibillion-dollar corporate empire. Between this expedition and the one that followed, he encountered a multitude of misdeeds and tragedies. The characters of Yogi Babu and Anand Raj help to build the film and urge the audience to applaud.
Reception
Varisu was one of the highest-grossing films that also broke the worldwide collections of ‘Bigil’. The film has crossed 300 crore achievement, and the movie was well received by the public. Varisu got a 68 per cent rotten tomatoes rating, while on IMDB, the film is rated at 6.5/10. Thalapathy Vijay’s other films that made 200 crores include Bigil, Sarkar, Mersal, Master, and Beast.
